Weekend homes are like no others, they have a character of their own. A laid back and easy go by while still being cool and crazy.

This weekend home that we came up with is exactly what the character has asked for. The design is set to have landscape elements in simplest of the formats to have the weekend vibes while the architecture comes in as a fresh breath.

The landscape design plays with the levels and creates spaces for party lawns, lawn mounds, amphitheaters, pergolas and driveways along with walkways. The space has a clear division between the private spaces with the party elements as the site is long and has given opportunity to play with it.

The architecture is a whole different story to that of landscapes, while the landscape is calm and serene, the architecture is purely character driven and is to include a bit of lazy boy while still having the weirdness to introduce a surprise into the calmness and still maintain the harmony.

The balconies come as refreshing cuts in the structure and the swimming pool is partly hidden under the built space and the rear play space is connected visually to the spaces ahead by the same form and space creation through architecture.
